I sure hope this question is ok and in the applicable category.

I am hoping someone can recommend a program to help with cleaning up my music prior to bringing it into XBMC for the first time. I am a new XBMC user and I want to add in my enormous music catalog but, after years of iTunes only usage I have a mixture of mp3 and m4a files and inconsistent file names and such.

I downloaded and tried using Musicbrainz Picard to reorganize everything but it kept getting hung up on the m4a files.

I am looking for a program that I can drop my whole /My Music folder (both mp3 and m4a files) into. Have that program look for any m4a's and then convert them into mp3's. Leave the mp3's alone. And delete the original m4a files.

Does this program exist?
