Can't my Eskro A8-3870 build to be easy and reliable enough for my family to use. It's either oddities coming out of sleep, harmony remote issues, or power on/off issues.

Since I've had this for a year, are there set-top or other always on builds that I should look at?

PQ and ease of use are at the top of the list. I play 1080p BD and 3D BD.

Tried using openelec? Its free and you can try it out without disrupting your current install. Support for amd GPUs isn't the best in Linux, but recently it has improved a lot.
