would be a nice add on the ftp server for a sfv checker that checks files uploaded to xbmc by ftp that contain a sfv file

wouldnt that make transfers very slow if it's done on the fly or slow hd speed if done afterwards?

will the next version inlcude sfv/md5 checksum?
i think it should haave a script atleast. sorry if there has been one. so -
please point me to it cause i havent seen one.

complex.tools.1.60-complex supports sfv/md5 checksum, right? use that for your sfv/md5 needs. if data corruption is that common place with the xbmc xbfilezilla server (which it isn't), a checksum verifier is not the solution. if anything is done at all regrading a bulit-in checksum verifier, i think it should be added to the context menu e.g. "verify file with sfv/md5." is there an open-source md5/sfv checksum verifier ported to xbox? if not you could ask team complex really nicely. i did not research into this, thus, sorry if i sound ignorant/am being ignorant; i object to having automated checksum verification.

the problem isn't the lack of code.
the problem is the usefullness of it. something maybe 0.1% of our users will care for. certainly not going into the core.
