I know there's already a plugin that takes advantage of MSNBC's clip library (even though I haven't been able to get it to work for the last few months), but MSNBC is launching a new website and a new media library that includes a live stream to people who have cable TV.
Everything is now located at http://now.msnbc.com (make sure you don't have www at the beginning). Also, I had to turn off my ad and flash blockers to be able to get in. But once I did that, all I had to do was click the "unlock" link at the top and then log in with my comcast account.
The new site offers a live stream of what's playing on the network now, as well as full episodes of the shows. I can watch the live stream just fine, but it's saying "this content is currently unavailable" on the full episodes of the shows.
But I was hoping someone could look into this and figure out how to make an XBMC addon that takes advantage of this new video library and live stream. I would be eternally grateful if you could!
I'm not entirely confident this can be done, though, since CNN has had a similar set for quite a while and I haven't seen an addon for that.
But could someone with some technical know-how people take a look?
