So first I must say that I have been looking for such a tool.
And kudos to the developers.
I'm sure it's great for an existing data collection.

In my view, there are serious weaknesses when scraping a new video collection.
The hit rate is very bad with the built in scrapper.
Maybe I do something wrong.
But at least 60% of my video collection is not recognized.

For e.g. the Video Rush. EMM doesn't find the appropriate IMDB Entry
But when I use the same string in google and search for "Rush Imdb", the first hit fits properly.
What could be the reason.
I use version v.1.3.0.17

Depends on your setting. As default EMM tries to identify a movie via its folder name. So if the folder name is borked, EMM has no chance to find it.
IIRC the second identifier is the movie's year in brackets.
