Hi All

I've scoured the forums and tried a number of suggestions with no luck.

My DLINK DNS-323 is shared openly as SMB on my network.
I'm running TVHeadend backend and frontend on my RPi under RaspBMC.

I'm able to play media from the NAS almost without issue (sometimes throws an error while the disks are started from sleep).

In TVHeadend's PVR record path field, I have tried entering the SMB path to the the root folder and also the folders I have set up for video and music.
It doesn't work for recording.

Any definitive guide as to how to achieve this?

I had tried something similar but it didn't work and wasn't as complete as the info in the link you shared.
