For some time ago, I tried a few of the Gotham alphas, but when I changed the audio settings from 2.0 to 5.1 the only sound i got was DD or DTS. Anybody else experiencing this or has this already been fixed?

leave it at 2.0 ... this will give you 5.1 for all encoded audio (aac, ac3, dts) - setting it to 5.1 would result in decoding by xbmc and sending out to the amp via lpcm (which has still issues with channel mapping which might result in silence for some amps).

Ok. Just so I understand you correctly. Leaving it at 2.0 will not cut off my sub and all decoding is done by my receiver?
