Win Custom TV show nfo not working
#1
Okay I'll try to keep this simple...I have custom videos (repeat custom videos, MY videos not DVD rips or Tivo recordings) that I want to add to my video library as TV shows. Again, these are not recordings or rips so this is not a question on how to get a scraper to work. My first thought was to export the library using some Tivo recordings and edit the nfo files that are created. I did this but the strangest thing is that it worked for 2 of the 4 folders. I then exported the library (again), reinstalled XBMC and reconnected to the source and now NONE of them work. What gives?

Folder structure (all four folders)

Show Name (folder)--
Show Name S01E01 - Show Title.mp4 (file)
Show Name S01E01 - Show Title.nfo (file)
Show Name S01E02 - Show Title.mp4 (file)
Show Name S01E02 - Show Title.nfo (file)
...repeat for all files
tvshow.nfo (file)

I then tried Ember to create nfo files...Same result

Videos are accessible only via the "Files" menu

AGAIN..I see ALOT of info on how to get tv shows to scrape...Not applicable, these are private videos in tv episode type format...I need the low down on why the nfo's are not registering.

DON'T WORK

So what's the deal? All the Wikis say this should work.

What did you set the content to ? which scraper did you select in your source setup ?

You still need to select a scraper and scraper source, but the local info will be used instead. This is counterintuitive and was changed in Gotham (a local surces only option was added as scraper type)

Did you solved it?
I'm in the same situation.
Any tips?

Thankyou
