Win xbmc 12.3 remote controll on intel nuc d34010wyk
#1
Hi guys...

ive been seaching the net thin for solutions.

Im running my xbmc on a windows x64 Intel nuc D34010wyk with a plextor msata 128gb ssd sata600, 8gb kingston 12800 ddr3.

The new version of the Intel Nuc´s have IR mounted as default. In windows manager it shows as an Nuvoton SIO CIR Device. How do i use this to control xbmc ?

I have theese remotes to choose from

1 samsung smarttv remote from the 6 series
1 apple tv remote from atv3
1 denon avr reciever remote from the 2808 series

Any of you know of some way to make any of theese work as controller for the xbmc ? I currently use my iphone and/or ipad as controller... but it would be nice to use a standard remote sometimes as well Smile

I have the same problem making the IR ability to work!
Did you already find a solution in the mean time?

You can buy an IR Key from Adafruit, the apple remote will work with that receiver!
The up/down will be the volume up/down but you can rewrite that receiver with a mac.
