On a clean install of XBMC, I added TV Shows under Videos/Add Videos, and set them as TV Shows using TVDB. They show up fine under Videos and play from there. But they don't show up under TV Shows in main menu. I'm neglecting something really easy, I'm sure.

I'm using XBMC latest stable version with Transparency! on Linux Mint. The shows come with thumbnails etc. from my previous install of XBMC on a Windows box, and the files are named and structured properly.

edit: well, I needed to click on "update" although I had all the data in the folders as mentioned. Having done that, everything works fine!

Did you check the wiki on file naming and folder structure. Only scrapped video files will appear in the TV Shows library. The following is my folder / file naming scheme:

TV Shows ->
How I Met Your Mother ->
Season 1 ->
How.I.Met.Your.Mother.S01E01.mkv

The file naming is the most important for a proper scrap - Series Name.Season#.Episode#

Once you have the files named properly you can rerun the scrapper and it should populate your TV Show library.
