XBMC internal scraper or external software
#1
Hi all.... Just wondered what you think is best is best... Allowing XBMC to scrape and find all the fan art etc (big advantage is that all the fanart etc then lives on my xbmc and not my NAS) or using something like media center manager or emberHuh

My biggest concern is that all my films etc are on my NAS and using a 3rd party app may be easier than me creating all my own NFO files to allow XBMC to scrape correctly, but then I end up with all the fan art etc on the NAS as well....

Any Thoughts??

I use Ember, but it isn't perfect and so I also use the XBMC scrapers for those films Ember has problems with, e.g. Iron Man: Rise of Technovore and Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon
I don't use a NAS so I'm afraid I can't comment on the responsiveness of such a fanart solution.

to be honest its not the responsiveness that bothers me... its just plain annoying when using the PC to add files and sort things out as you end up with so many extra folders etc... Maybe its just me being a bit OCDSmileSmile
