I recently had a hard drive crash, so I replaced it and updated along the way...

Before:
- SSD
- Win 7
- XBMC 12.2

Now:
- SSD
- Win 8.1
- XBMC 12.3

The computer definitely boots up faster now with windows 8, but it launches into the desktop and seems to wait/be delayed in opening XBMC on startup - about 3-5 seconds. So during this time it's logged in and just staring at the desktop. It definitely launched XBMC *much* faster before - the desktop background basically flashed.

Is this something with win8? XBMC 12.3 being slower to startup?

Any ideas how I can actually make it launch faster on startup?
