Linux htpc with a raspberry touchscreen remote help
#1
*I'm not sure where to post this. I'm sorry if this is the wrong sub-forum*

I'm wanting to build a linux htpc with an interactive coffee table (powered by a raspberry pi) as the remote but after a couple of hours of searching I'm not sure if this is even possible right now. From my searching it seems my best bet is to install android on the raspberry pi (which apparently is still really glitchy) and use the yatse app for android. If anyone has any experience or advice it would be greatly appreciate!

Hi
Android and yatse or one of the other apps would be the prettiestSmile you could also use the web interface http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Web_interface
The default isnt pretty but works.... there are others and if its only html (as I think) then you could do your own interface/page

I'll look into touch friendly web interfaces. Maybe make something with iwebkit if it hasn't already been done. Thanks for the idea!
