Did a number of searches trying to discover if this issue had already been reported, and came up empty, so here goes nothing. My apologies if this is a dup.
If you are playing music and running a visualization full screen, pressing the context menu button twice will crash XBMC. This is highly reproducible.
ulimit -c is unlimited, but for some reason I was unable to get a core file to drop so I could include it with this post. This should easily repro, but if anyone wants me to supply an actual core, I'll need a bit of help figuring out why they're not being generated.
I do however have a crash log which you may find at the following location:

Gigabyte Brix GB-BXA8-5545 (AMD Richland A8-5545M APU)
G.Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333 SO-DIMM
Plextor M5M PX-128M5M 128GB SSD
Operating System:
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS - XBMCbuntu (GNU/Linux 3.13.0-27-generic x86_64)
XBMC Version:
Installed: 2:13.1~git20140526.0650-gotham~rc1-0trusty
