Broken OpenWeatherMap Extended

AttributeError: 'get_tiles' object has no attribute 'loop'

it's a bug in the addon.
i'll post an update to the addon repo.

I wonder if this is partially to blame for http://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/16314

Will find out soon enough.

The problem we are having is specific to Raspberry Pi's and the Aeon MQ6 Skin. If I use Confluence, the icons and maps etc. work (but they're not animated, as there is no way to change the external icon location). If you want to use Aeon, you have to use the public release version of the skin, as something for Raspberry Pi users was broken when v3.0.0 was released (private VIP access only). This is what I have discovered from days of trial and error and backup/restores. Pi users must either use Aeon MQ6 public release, or Confluence. Period. Upgrading to Milhouse Jarvis builds makes no difference. The problem is with the skin and not the addon or Kodi.

I noticed this morning there was an update to OpenWeatherMaps addon.. i rebooted RPI2(Confluence skin, OSMC all latest updates) and can still see the error.

Is the "Maps" feature of this add-on no longer working? I just rebuilt my Raspberry Pi 2 in an attempt to solve the Aeon MQ6 issue. Turns out, a fresh/clean install with no other addon's fixed the problem (icons now show up INSIDE the addon! woot!). Only now I'm not getting any maps. If I explore in the file manager, it looks like it downloads the street map ok, but if I go into the various map styles (like precip, wind, etc) they're all empty.

yeah, it's barely working lately.
they have server capacity issues on their end.

i'm afraid i still don't see any logging from openweathermap in your debug log.
please double-check the instructions in the first post on how the create such a log.

will open weather log be in the same kodi log or will it be in the add on folder for openweather?

also, what can i look for to confirm i have the right logs before posting again?
