I am running Kodi 19.3, with the emby next gen add-on, on a fire stick 4k max. I have emby server 4.4.3.0 on an Ubuntu server (22.4 LTS).
Before using emby next gen, the previous add-on for emby worked trouble free, sometimes even when unused for months, I'd switch it on and everything would just work.
Now, what feels like about once a week, I'll fire up Kodi, and I'm unable to play any emby content or see anything new I may have added until I carry out a database reset and sync. It appears to only be a problem with Kodi as I can see the emby server and play content from a different device using the browser. Also, my tvheadend setup is working fine on the same fire stick.
Once I've done this, it works fine for another week or so.
