Hi,

I am trying to use my debugging log and on the screen it show that the log is being saved to /home/xbmc/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log.

The problem is, no matter what i do within xbmc, including rebooting, it doesn't update.

The file is set the the highest verbose mode, including in advancedsettings.xml and i have given the file full permissions...any help would be great.

Any chance you've installed a pretty recent nightly build? Please check if there's a ~/.kodi/temp/kodi.log

I haven't installed kodi yet..i am still on gotham

What do you mean by this ? You don't need to change any permissions.
