am running the latest beta of Helix on a Cubox-i4 Pro: Server Log
I'm able to see my guide data, however, the channel never tunes and I don't see an error message either

In the log you posted I can't see any place where you are trying to open a live stream. But from what you describe, my guess is you haven't set credentials, non-windows clients need this set to access the recorded tv share. In the folders tab of swmc, enter credentials for an account that can access the recorded tv folder.
