OS X Mac Mini Core Duo 1.66 Ghz GMA950 - 1080p?

Anyone know how the Mac Mini with OSX 10.6 works for 1080p? I understand there may be no hardware decoding but will it software decode 1080p on XBMC?

Will 10.6 be viable through xbmc 15?

I think you have the same machine as I have.

I'm running OSX 10.7.5 and KODI Helix beta. 1080p plays just fine and hardware decoding is on.
I think that software decoding (like the h265 codec) is impossible with that kind of machine. But the h264 codec, xvid, divx, mpeg is hardware decoded by my Mini. I sometimes play big 1080p files (30GB for 2 hours movie) without any problems.

I don't know for OSX 10.6, but I know no reason why not to update to 10.7.5
