Trigger an external screen saver with Kodi
#1
Evening,

I would like to use an external "screen saver" application (hi-def/4K) time lapse screen saver application instead of the standard Kodi built in screensaver module.

Is there a way to customize Kodi to trigger this screen saver (maybe issue a command line, etc.) instead of the usual screen saver options?

I assume that any command to Kodi would them deactivate the external screen saver and return to Kodi's main window.

Has anyone done this? Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this helps, but there is a screensaver that allows you to play your own custom videos- 210943 (thread)

Please allow Mac OS's screensaver when running Kodi!

Can we expect that feature?
