I can't get into settings and turn on debugging because the enter password screen is broken as shown above. Any way to do this by command line?

edit guisettings.xml and change your skin.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Everything works fine with the default skin so I guess I'll just use that from now on.
