I was using the search feature in XBMC 13.1 and it froze up on me. I reset my Amazon fire TV and it went to the fire default screen and it also is frozen. Have attempted to reset AFT several times, but it remains frozen. Any suggestions?
Thank you, Daniel Smith

First, what do you mean by "rest"?
Did you do (or attempt) a factory rest?
If you did a factory rest and the AFTV is frozen then it's not a XBMC/Kodi issue and you'll need to look elsewhere for answers.
Have you tried unplugging the power cord, then plugging it back in?

I said reset, not rest. Yes I did unplug and plug back in the AFTV to reset it. Left power on and XBMC reset itself. Problem solved.Thank you for taking the time to reply.
