Release Aeon Nox: SiLVO
(2015-08-31, 14:10)Plasmator Wrote: @mike,

Yes - problem above solved. Thx for the hard work and great skin. Btw, upgrading to Jarvis (Kodi 16) did fix other issues too.

I have some other questions which I can't seem to solve on my own so here goes :

Is it possible to hide the poster art from the bottom middle when you press info while playing a movie ?

Can the color of the grid lines on the movie info panel be changed to a shade of grey or white so they are more visible ? Something between the older Aeon Nox and SiLVO.

Can the InfoPanel show hours & mins too ? It still showing mins with latest build.

There is no setting to hide the poster but I can add one. It will also hide the logo and clearart which take priority when available Huh

No plans to change the gridlines for the default but if you want a more Nox 4 look then activate the blur option in the Video Info settings and the lines should be more visible.

I missed the InfoPanel and will alter the runtime there as well Wink

I totally get your MOD to show time remaining on the info screen. But I was after something totally different and was just wondering if it was possible for me to implement myself with a little help pointing me in the right direction ?

Here is a pic of where I was looking to change the timer that is currently counting UP. But change it to be counting DOWN instead. If possible at all ? So it shows on all screens. Pause/Info/OSD.

I am not sure where your confusion lies perhaps I did not explain myself clearly enough...

I had already added what you wanted in exactly the way you requested but meesham asked for the switch to be on the duration and not elapsed so I changed it. I was thinking I might make it so pressing down would cycle through all three... Edit: Added the third option, available on Git now

You can toggle the current option by pressing info and then down on your remote. The seekbar appears in all the places you mentioned so I do not know if you are assuming it only works when pressing info Huh

One more thing... Wink

In your photo no time has elapsed so the time remaining will equal the total duration cause without subtracting anything from the duration it is the only instance the two will match.

GitHub has been updated with some fixes, additions, and changes.
Most important change to be aware of is the removal of BannerInfo. It is now an option for the InfoWall view (idea and some code used from the skin Mimic thanx braz Smile)
Check the commit history for more info.

Hmm ok just tried that with the latest git version of isengard but when I bring up the info screen and press down on the remote or keybord it just seeks back the movie ? Dosent change the time setting. I must be doing something really wrong or have some setting not enabled possibly ? Do you have to turn the feature on somewhere in a settings menu ?

To get it to work I first paused a video, brought up the info screen and then toggled the time display using the down arrow.

Paused or not doesn't matter. If you are able to control the position of the media when pressing in any direction then you are either not using Isengard or have not activated the full screen info first. You cannot control the player when having the info dialog open. How are you displaying the info screen?

I am displaying the info screen by pressing I on the keyboard. Is that not the correct way to do it ? Just now I tried pressing pause and you are right it didn't work. My arrow keys CAN control the seek bar with the info screen up so something must be funny with my setup ? I most defenently have isengard. probably not the lasts one though so not sure it that might be it ? I I got the isengard version of this skin just now from git and installed from zip and it all worked as it should from there.

Pressing "i" key is the way to do it.... In all versions of Isengard you cannot use up, down, left, or right to control playback position when the info screen is active. I have no idea how you are able to do that Huh What version of Kodi does it say you have installed under system info?

Not sure by your last sentence but is it currently working correctly for you or...?

15.0 Beta was what it was.

I have now just installed 15.2 and gave it another go and now with the info screen up the direction keys no longer seek the movie. But it still dosent do anything with the timer for some strange reason ? I tried pressing and holding the button for a few seconds but that did nothing. I tried pressin up down left and right and still nothing ? Really strange. Do I also have to enable the Silvo mod to display time remaining on full screen info aswell as it wasent clear if I should also need that active or not ? I have it off at the moment.

Go to your Kodi addons folder and check for more than one silvo skin folder and delete all of them then reinstall the skin by manually extracting the zip and placing it in the same folder. Not sure what the problem may be but the easiest thing would be to reinstall manually to skip any issues during install. If you are on windows then installing from the addon manager will fail because of some invalid studio logo filenames...

Also do not hold the button down a single press will do.

Just saw your updated post and if you see that option then you are not using the latest from git. Those settings have been removed.

Yay that fixed it, thank you so very much Mike Smile Yes I am using Windows so I guess the installing the skin from zip was failing. Deleted it and manually unzipped and cut and pasted it into the kodi addons folder and it works. Woo Hooooo... Smile Smile Smile

A suggestion to "music". Is it possible to affect differents cdarts in case of multi cd rip ?

For ex, Michael jackson's history is a 2 cd compil. Assuming i rip my cd into this form :
1-1 Billy Jean (cd1, track 1) => 1 cdart (cdart.png)
2-1 Thriller (cd2, track 1) => 1 different cdart (cdart1.png)

But do not know if it's possible.

Thanks. Will take a look at the new github Wink

With the current state of the music section of Kodi... It unfortunately is not possible without using a script/addon that can provide that... Albums are treated as one album with a single thumb/disc. I am very much against using addons for skin functionality because once you use them then you may want to tie a lot of options to those addons and if they ever become unsupported it will take a lot of reconfiguration to get the skin working as it once was... I have very little addons that add to the usability of this skin and all of what has currently been added can easily be reverted if they ever get replaced or unsupported in the future. If somebody comes up with a solution that can be maintained by the skin like using a variable, include, or param I will consider adding it... I actually plan on supporting, maintaining, and adding to this skin for as long as I can possibly do so and to accomplish that some limitations have to be set. If it is not in the core of Kodi then it can and might possibly be removed if it needs to be Nod
I hope that makes sense.

thanks for the answer. i am as you; Don't want to use to much addons in case of "discontinued" too.
