Hi All

Hope you can help me , I am using a build that is using Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO (the build is KodiNoLimits) everything is fine I was able to customize pretty much everything but the views , I can set them up for example using MyFlix and everytime I get out or changed page it goes back to default view, Any suggestions how I can make the changes permanent ??

I use Aeon nox skin on kodi 17. I take a category in an addon and bring it out the main screen. When I run it and when I press return to get out. It always come back to the main addon then I have to press another return to go to the main kodi screen.
This is not the case in kodi 16.1
Anyone knows what is the problem and how to fix it?

@ rosario try the latest Krypton nightly & re enable skin, it will download another dependency addon which should enable you to them & colors.
Mike the latest Git update seems to have broken the videolyrics again ?
Also manfeed has added new animation for his videolyrics.

hI, just made an account because I'm new to creating builds for kodi, I downloaded aeon nox 5 silvo and worked customized a build, just finished it today and created a backup. However when I tried to restore the backup to firestick, it just shows the old version of the aeon nox build I had previously, I don't know what I am doing wrong, please help

Can you say what folders you backed up? You've probably missed something.

well I customized aeon nox silvo with my pc using kodi 17 and I backed it up the same method I usually use with regular aeon nox, I'm not sure if I was supposed to save it a different way but this is what I did: using adblink I did a back up and saved it on a folder to my desktop, then with this folder I did a restore to my firestick, but it showed the build I had before I downloaded aeon nox mod . when I turn kodi on my pc, aeon nox silvo build works great, but I don't know how to save it properly because when I go to c:/user/appdata/roaming/kodi/addons I only see the folder for aeon nox, but not aeon nox silvo. could this is because I didn't start from scratch? I downloaded the aeon nox silvo while. still using my aeon nox build, so everything including my apps and repositories deleted, but my sources in file manager remained intact. thank you for your fast reply!! this whole thing is stressing me out so I really appreciate it!

I've not used Adblink before, but you'll definitely need to have copied the "skin.aeon.nox.silvo" folder to the new build as well as some of the other script / service folders etc. You'll also need to copy the relevant folders under userdata/addon_data/ - You could try manually copying them over.

Updated kodi to todays nightly 20170226-07ae746 and no change. Not allowing me to customize skin colors. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Having issues with recording of iive TV -- when I hit the 'record' button from anywhere (for example the guide), a partial and transparent window pops up (looks like 4 rows of the timer popup maybe). No buttons or anything else. The recoding does however seem to start.

I am using Krypton and 6.0.3 Silvo. Also using MediaPortal PVR if that has an impact.

tried to find in posts but could not and didn't see in GitHub as an issue or recently fixed issue. Tried latest from GitHub also and it is still there.

I think I know whats happened. Since Master has become Leia , hence I am pulling that which is why Kodi 17 is disabling the skin.
I have tried git pull from the tree/krypton but it dosen't work! There must be a way . Could someone help ?

Your images show square and if you do not want square then chose something else under art when enabling the widget.

Question regarding Fanart when listening to the music.
I just want to have only one predefined image instead of Fanart when song is playing in full screen.
Tried searching but nothing i find works.
I installed Artist Slideshow, tried every option in it but background is always black.
Only thing that shows anything is CD Wall and Blurred album thumb.
How can i set only one image as default music full screen image?

This is a unique request and I do not understand wanting to display a specific fanart for all music. If the image is black then make sure your library has been tagged properly including a musicbrainz ID. If you have a properly tagged library and you still have a black screen then seek support in the artist slideshow thread.

To illustrate in image with addon Catch-up. You can not do anything ?

I do not use that add-on but if they display a landscape image then they should not be setting the content to Movie or TV Show which if using the latest from Git must be the case otherwise the image aspect ratio would be correctly kept

I have a feature request.

I think it would be quite useful to have some kind of indicator that there is a widget available for the section if the 'hide widgets if not focussed' feature is on.
I don't know if this could be a small tab extending from the main bar or something.

Do not need nightly. Check that skin.helper is not disabled on your system... Not an easy way to do that so I suggest deleting all skin.helper folders in the addon folder, restarting Kodi, then re-installing using the supported add-ons section in Skin settings > Help. You likely installed manually and the item is disabled.

No idea what the problem is on your system so I say just delete all and install from zip the correct branch using the info in the skin FAQ when installing the GitHub version.

Why the hell do any of you banned addon (wiki), build making, what-u-ma-call-it users want to run this skin? All I see is shitty YouTube videos where everyone is using the List view. There is a list view in EVERY other skin in existence!

None of those stupid videos you are watching will teach you how to skin properly or how to use skin shortcuts. When you say "I edited script-skinshortcuts-includes.xml" and it was overwritten, you seriously have no idea what you are doing or talking about so... Why bother?

Had to think about this... If you are doing a pull but have not changed the branch then you will still be stuck on master. Can't help any more without pics of what Git software you are using.

On win 10 you can use Windows Key + Prt Scrn and it will appear in your USERNAME\Pictures\Screenshots folder.

Oh, I agree soooooooooooooooooo much with this Mike, sick of seeing a youtube video with some muppet thanking someone who has built a shitty build and using Madnox and hearing the muppet saying that so and so has done an amazing job with the skin, really? what did he do exactly other than take all my hard work and put it in a shitty build.

I'm seeing more and more posts from people with either shitty builds or banned add-ons and am getting real tired of it, to the point where I could quite easily just say "F**k it" and walk away.

I did love what I spent MY FREE TIME doing when skinning, but not much right now!
