Just upgraded from a raspberry pi to a AFTV. Rooted the box and installed XBMC Gotham. I'm passing through all DD and DTS audio to my capable Onkyo receiver but can not seem to play any DTS mkv files without audio video sync issues or video judder. Its so bad at times the movies are un-watchable. Is there a fix for this? Any ideas? Thanks!

Have you tried turning off mediacodec for Video Acceleration?

Yes I tried that. I even installed Frodo and SPMC just to experiment. I'm currently on a rooted 51.1.1.0_user_511070220 I'm wondering if there has been an update from amazon that fixes this and the folks claiming to not have any problems are on a later version. Very frustrating!

I haven't had any issues with any FW version, rooted or unrooted, so doubtful that's your issue.
