wireless external hdd for Kodi

I happened to find these two beauties on amazon:

WD My Passport Wireless 1 TB Wi-Fi Mobile Storage (WDBK8Z0010BBK-NESN) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M9B3XZM/ref...Fub00MFR9C
BUFFALO MiniStation Air 1 TB Wireless Mobile Storage (HDW-PD1.0U3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KK90R1I/ref...Fub0S4S77S

Usually i have to leave home for work several times a month so these look like a good idea to carry all my medias together with me, as I use android tablet so the term "wireless" is essential. The one from WD support DLNA/uPnP, and the one from Buffalo only support DLNA, I'D TO ASK IF SOMEONE COULD CONFIRM THAT THESE KIND OF DEVICE COULD WORK WITH KODI?

Thanks Wink

No idea about those two, but I have a Seagate Wireless Goflex Satellite (I think that's the full name), and I love it. The best part is you can get custom firmware for it so it supports other protocols and such. I don't travel very often, but that kind of setup works really well whenever I've tried it.

In theory, any of the DLNA/UPnP wifi HDDs should work, but having SMB is really nice since you can then read and write to the drive more easily.

Also, you can extend the life of the HDD battery by cranking up your cache settings so that the drive can spindown more often: HOW-TO:Modify the video cache (wiki)
