your gerne naming in your pictures above looks good. i have created a folder genre and inside that folder 2 new folders one named icons and the other one fanarts and put your gerne images files in there.(like you did) the genre image filenames needs the exact names as the gerne. for action the icons and fanrts need the name "action.jpg" .
the only thing you need to do is in the gerne view to enable "alternative gerne fanart" and "alternative gerne icons" and set the path to your fanarts and icons folder.

ok maybe you have a little error somewhere :-)
hope this helps
check your folder structure
do you have a gerne/fanart folder and a gerne/icons folder? the fanart and icons images cannot be in the same folder.
this is how i do it.
genre folder with a subfolders for icons and fanarts
the naming must match the genre names. for example the gerne name is action.
the fanart name must be action.jpg in your fanarts folder
and for icons name the icons image also action.jpg and put it in the icons folder.
and then add the correct path in xbmc/kodi under the gerne section 'movies-gernes'

ok good it works now. :-)
i think it these two does not work because your images name does not match the gerne name. So check your images files in the folders,
for Epouvante-horreur (Epouvante-horreur.jpg) and Science Fiction (Science Fiction.jpg) you need to rename/create the the right images files.
