I have been reading the manual and threads, but i could not find anything helpful so this is the problem.

I have 2 XBMC devices. One is a desktop and another one is a Mac.

Can I stream the contents from between two devices while they are on the different networks ( like while I am at my friend's house and I want to stream the content that I have on my Desktop at home) I just could not find this information anywhere, so if this information were somewhere out there on the internet please help me and no need to say something bad. Thanks !

XBMB3C would work for you probably. Not sure how secure it is though.

Could you show me how to do that? What do you mean by it might not be safe? I have been using Plex for free and it is pretty good. Just want to consider this XBMC is another option so I won't have to spend another 150$ for lifetime supscription for Plex. Thanks !
