Sorry. Edited entire post.

I spent all weekend configuring my xbmc on my laptop (windows 8 OS) and ended up uninstalling after too many tweaks caused live tv to stop working. One thing I discovered was add on urls in the tutorials I was using were out of date or I was getting different urls from different tutorials. Does it matter which url you use as long as it works?

Also wondering why my primewire and project free tv get stuck in working mode. Any ideas or links to fixes?
