Running XBMCbuntu. Ditched the Plex server completely since I've found the UPNP stuff in KODI.

Got it all up and running last night, and though I'm still having issues getting the HDMI to work without the VGA on this motherboard videos all seemed to run perfectly fine. I need to find some that had lots of crazy effects. My old AMD 4800+ would stutter throughout things like a video of static because it couldn't keep up.

If I install a program, like the Prismatik software for Lightpack, on the desktop side does it stay installed while I'm in XBMC? So that I can install the program launcher addon and launch the software. Or Steam for that matter.
