Shutdown Raspbmc
#1
Good Afternoon All,

Happy new Year 2015.

I have an issue with my RASPBMC (KODI Helix).

I am running it along side the USB 3 and the SD card, bit faster, with latest Amber skin (tried with the Confluence the same issue).

The QUIT in the main menu takes me to another menu with SHUTDOWN, when click on the SHUTDOWN it does not shut down the system it actually hangs the system up and I have to unplug it and replug it back and of course I get the message that I have to shutdown properly.

Is there any other way of creating a script or alike to force it shutdown, I use to do it via SSH now I am not even allowed in my RasPi (using Putty) bit of a problem I don't want to corrupt my system, please help.

Thanks

Siamak

This seems to be a raspbmc specific issue, so best to ask here.
