Hi,
I've read all the guides and things that suggest changing the Microsoft remote to emulate a keyboard to get all the buttons working, including the Details/Info button.
The thing that has me wondering is that MPC-HC recognises the coloured buttons and the Details/Info button out of the box with no changes to Windows; ehome drivers and registry settings are plain vanilla.
Are they doing something special that can be incorporated into Kodi?
I have found for some strange reason that by changing the remote to emulate keypresses, the details button doesn't work in MCE. Ctrl-D will bring up the details menu, and the button works fine in Kodi, so I am just thinking that if MPC-HC can work with all the buttons, surely Kodi can...
Or am I missing something on getting this working without any changes to Windows? I set Kodi to debug log with vanilla ehome settings and pressed left, right, down, info, and it recognised the left right down but not any event on info. I then fired up MPC-HC and info does as it should...
