This noob disabled the settingsmenu:

when setting menuitems to (dis)abled i mistook the red side of the slider for disabled... seems it was the other way around

So now i have all the menuitems i didn't want

But the main question is.. how on earth am i getting in the settingsmenu to correct this noob action??

in what xml file are these settings stored? I've been searching within ...AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\guisettings.xml

But i'm not sure what to look for there.

Press S letter in your keyboard at home, go to settings option in context menu (enter), go to skin settings (last item), enter, main menu (first item), customize main menu (last item), reactive, done.
