Hello,
Can I use external srt files as subtitels on my xbmc? when i stream from my NAS using UPnP.
both files are placed in my NAS and have the same filename, (ex. movie.avi and movie.srt).
Is there any workaround to make it work ?

.srt is not supported.
Try DLNA or SMB.

Pretty sure .srt is supported by Kodi, unless it's a specific limitation when streaming via UPnP.

Use smb. There is no point issuing upnp.
