I've tried to play on my pi(openelec) from a windows server (kodi and plex). I've also tried on the pi from ubuntu(kodi and plex). and finally I've tried playing on my windows(kodi) from the ubuntu(kodi) and it always fails and says check error log.
Note that I did a fresh install of openelec on the pi and it played perfectly from windows. but since then (a day or so) i've done stuff (can't confirm exactly what changes) and it all broke again.
looking at my debug I see that it says rule matched for streaming, then lower down it says matched 0 rules with players.

any help is greatly appreciated...
fyi my goal is to stream from a server(most likely ubuntu desktop version) to a raspberry pi. I've tried NFS, Samba, as well. Just looking for the best way with libraries working and figured kodi - kodi via upnp would do the trick...
