I have followed the install instructions several times for last few days but keep getting an error when running "sudo apt-get install kodi "

Initially it "hangs" for a while saying "0% [Waiting for headers]" then I get an error message.

I am running Ubuntu 14.04

You are not connected to any network, it looks like. Are you on ethernet or wireless?

Thks for the reply. Definitely connect to internet via a ethernet connection

Solved problem by reinstalling ubuntu. It is only a media/PVR machine so doesn't take long to rebuild
