Work colleague having trouble with his xbmc box, I said I'd take a look, basically it's running xbmc 11 do nothing works anymore as it's not supported,

As the box has no os, just boots straight into xbmc how do I update the xbmc version as it won't auto update

Any help grateley appreciated

My friend had two of these. 6 months ago I tried many different builds of XBMC and linux builds to try and get it updated and I ended up bricking one of them and the other just wouldn't run anything successfully, he now runs a Raspberry Pi.

I put hours and hours in but there just isn't the support for these anymore.

Cheers @T800 I've got a t8 myself but this is awful everywhere I've looked it's a dead-end they sell the units and that's it no aftercare no means of updating, horrendous.

I'll give him the good news
