Kodi crashes every time I open "files" or "file manager" or "video files" or "audio files"

What is bizzare is that it just started doing this today on the previous version of XBMC. I did a fresh install of Kodi with new user data and everything, hoping that would fix the issue, and it did not!

Just waiting for someone to help me out with an answer. I also get the issue when I am just trying to exit Kodi.

Ive just fixed my issue, had something to do with the firewall, might be worth a try??

Go into the firewall settings and allow Kodi Public Network Access, fixed all my problems on windows 7 & 8!

Hope this helps, ive now got Kodi on 4 computers in the house

I don't believe the firewall is my issue, mostly because I had it shut off
