Hey folks,

I got a question:
Is there any way to provide something like a history of played songs when playing partymode?

background:

If there is a party or friends sit over I am running partymode to serve music.
Works fine.
And I don't care about xbmc while running, computer and tv are off.

Every now and then it happens someone asks me "Hey, what was that nice band/song/track playing in the last song?"
I don't know ALL names from any band on any sampler I got nor do I own a time machine.
And even if it's the last 30 seconds of a song - until I get to computer or remote control the track has ended and I have no clue which one it was.

Is there any logfile, history plugin or other possibility to find out which tracks have been played after they were deleted from playlist by partymode?

Smart playlists (wiki) can do this. Just make a playlist for recently played songs: http://kodi.wiki/view/Smart_playlists#Re...ayed_songs

It's probably easiest to just do this in the GUI, but you can use that XML to see what values to enter in the GUI editor for smart playlists.
