There are a number of sites that feature free sports streams without even requiring a subscription and there is no associated xbmc add on to access this content.

America East TV: http://www.americaeast.com/liveEvents/liveEvents.dbml
and several individual colleges stream their sporting events, such as Hofstra, Deleware, Kennesaw State, Limestone.

Matches are seldom aired on cable television, and, at least in the northeast us and canada, there are a fair amount of people that are interested in this growing sport.
It would be great if someone could build an add-on that aggregates the lacrosse matches from these sites into a kodi video add on. But it would also be nice and perhaps easier for someone to create separate add ons for NEC front row, the networks on campus insider and America East TV. These include all kinds of sports and rival ESPN3 in content, but do not require cable subscriptions to access. The same idea could be used for basketball, or women's sports, or whatever.
If I had the ability, I'd create such an add on myself. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where I'd start.
