Hi all,

I have my main media centre pc running kodibuntu, mysql database and other stuff hidden away in my chimney.

I start it be yatse with wol, and otherwise control via wireless keyboard and mouse if needed, or telnet.

It has a 100mb onboard lan and a pci 1000mb lan card.

I was just using the 1000mb lan until wol stopped working with the pci card, after I plugged another network cable into the 100mb card just to allow for wol.

This solution worked for a few reboots, but not anymore, I'm not sure if it's the mysql database or kodi binding to wrong lan but it will not work properly, huge pauses followed by no library and other odd stuff.

It seems to work with just 100mb connected, though not ideal solution.

Is there a way to disable the 100mb card on boot up so I can use it for wol but use the 1000mb card for everything else?

To be fair I've not given enough time to this problem myself, snooped around Ubuntu forums but not seen anything useful.
