I am remotely refreshing the playlist (m3u) file for the IPTV Simple Client with new streams. This m3u file is locally saved on Kodi. However I need to either restart the machine, kill Kodi or restart the IPTV client to refresh the list in Kodi. The latter is sometimes crashing Kodi when a live stream is being watched while restarting the addon.

Is there a way to nicely refresh the live stream playlist without interrupting a stream being watched? For instance by calling "pvrmanager.resetdb"? I want to do this via JSON API or SSH.
