Win Kodi 14.1 won't run

I have a Windows 8.1 PC with 6 cores and 8 gigs of ram. I tried to install Kodi 14.1 and it installed but won't run. I get the error unable to create application. Can anyone tell me why the stable version of Kodi won't run.Angel

Are you running a defrag operation? If there is a process that uses your HDD to 100% it may prevent Kodi from starting.

I had the same problem until I moved my User folder to a 32GB flashdrive, and mounted it to the appdata directory

I'm not defregging my drive. Only XBMC 13.2 and before will run on my computer for some reason. Please help.Rofl
