Hello, long time user of XBMC and now Kodi, first time posting. I wanted to let you guys know that the link for the latest stable release of Kodi 14.1 for Windows is incorrect. It currently points to here http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/win32/ko..._beta1.exe
And since I was unknowingly admitted as a beta tester, I figured I would provide some feedback.
My setup:
Windows 8.1 fully updated
Intel Core i3 3240
4gb of RAM
Media source, is streaming from a NAS device over a homeplug(unfortunately, dont ask) for that reason I have the following settings in Advanced settings
Audio settings WASAPI HDMI into receiver.
Video Settings, Use full size window, Software and Software for rendering
In 14.2 media would play anywhere from 2 to 8 minutes before stuttering a bunch. Before, everything played fine on 13.1. Uninstalled 14.2 and found the 14.1 install under the old builds download section and everything plays fine.
