I wanted to start a Attached Storage thread to discuss storage options, opinions and woahs.
I am a NAS4Free, former FreeNAS, user. Gave me the best value verse investment. Can share locally to Windows (CIFS), Linux (NFS), and Apple (AFP) protocols. As well as FTP and Torrenting via Transmission for over the internet (Works with the Transmission Addon). Supports NTFS, EXT, UFS and ZFS file systems. Great community forums and wiki for troubleshooting.
