I've been recently having an issue when I try to change channels from the Guide within a major channel.

If I'm on channel 4.1 open the guide and try to go to 4.2 it will act like the channel is going to change and then I'm suddenly still on 4.1. If I stop the currently playing channel first then select 4.2 it works fine.

Just an update. I found that this issue goes away if I turn off Use Backend Channel Numbers.

Sorry for the late reply. The current version of kodi does not handle subchannel numbers well, this is getting addressed in the next version of kodi. Glad you got it solved on your own.
