Roku bluetooth remote sleeping
#1
Hi,

First post - I have searched to no avail - so here goes:

I have moved from using to plex/roku 2 to a raspberry pi2 running openelec/kodi.

I am delighted with the whole setup - its ace.

The remote:

As I already have a roku2 remote - it is easy for the kids to use etc - I have connected it with a bluetooth dongle and have used keymap editor to re-map the buttons and it works really well.

The only problem is the remote seems to go to sleep and you have to press buttons (any ones will do) until it springs into action - about fifteen seconds.

Is it possible to fix the bluetooth remote sleeping?

Thanks Smile

Sorry can't help you you made me think as I've got a Roku also and it never occurred to me to use the Roku remote for Kodi also think ill try that.

I suppose this question is better asked in the OpenElec forums as the bluetooth driver and handling is not part of Kodi but the underlying OS (OE in this case). But maybe one of the OE devs will read it in here.

Maybe - I'll leave it herefor a while - not keen on posting the same question everywhere - you never know someone else may have walked down the same route as me - hopefully !!!
