Hi there,
This has been puzzling me for a while. I have bought a Synology NAS server, off which I want to stream videos and music. I have succesfully set it up with a raspberry pi (newest model 1024 RAM, quad core) and OpenELEC version 5.0.6. which now uses kodi verison 14.2 and I can stream videos and music through NFS perfectly.
Now I also have a tablet in my wall which I want to serve as my media player for music. This is an Samsung Galaxy tab 4 with Android. I have installed kodi version 14.1. Here comes the weird thing. I can stream videos with NFS but I cannot reach the music folder for some reason. Because it is working on the raspberry, I don't take it it is an access problem on my NAS, as I put that open to anyone in the network.
These path work:
nfs://ip/volume1/video/series/
nfs://ip/volume1/video/movie/
But this path is not connecting:
nfs://ip/volume1/music/
To single out the version of Kodi I installed kodi version 14.2 on my Windows laptop, and I get the same problem as on my tablet.
I also tried Samba and although I can get to my NAS through Windows Explorer, I can't reach it through Kodi...
Any idea?
Many thanks in advance
