It is my favorite media center period, I like it better then anything else out there for any hardware. I've used ATI all in wonder since way back when it was called " All-N-Wonder" They were the best media center pc around and were around long before the term 'media center pc' was. Years of recording from satilite using svideo and re-encoding all those mpeg2's to xvid, took a lot of time and space.
Now with my XMBC all my movies are seconds away and portable I can carry an entire shows all seasons with me if I go out of town etc... Nothing good on tv tonight, always something good on xmbc. Its quick, intuitive and good to excellent quality play back, scales better to tv then the all in wonder, it's faster, better adjustments that are easy to use and looks better. Thanks for making Xbox Best Media Center it made my xbox useful again!
If only it could record. In fact you should look into taking the basic idea and create a tivo type box and sell them. I would deffinately buy a couple.
