A larger side bar? I use an air mouse and am 10 ft from the TV, it's always a struggle to select the bar or just above or below the bar to search. There has to be a better way?

Kodi is not really designed for mouse use.

You could try a skin that is made for a touch screen.
But a air mouse will be a pain to use and if you sit farther away it gets worse.
Tried one when I started out,
After a week testing I sold it and got a mce reciever and use my logitech harmony remote.

Which harmony? They seem very expensive.
